What to tell you about us and our online shop?
Well, let me start by telling you who I am. My name is Sara.
Mannitude was inspired by my gift-giving challenges for my husband. A gift that says “The World’s Best Dad” has just never worked for him, so he has always liked a variety of small gifts in a gift bag. This always made it difficult and time-consuming to find gifts that were useful and looked good together in a small gift bag.
Nonetheless, inspired by his love for gift bags, I would scour the malls for hours, eventually find fun items, wrap them beautifully and put them in a bag for him to enjoy.
My Lightbulb Moment
While wrapping gifts on day, I thought: “What if there were a website to solve gift-giving challenges for dudes – made for women like me”? And that’s how the idea for Mannitude was born.
I knew it had to avoid shopping malls, and it had to be easy to find different gifts that somehow also matched so that one could easily pop them into a gift bag and hand them over.
